Object Name Collection
Scope & Content The Big Cove Farmers Organization, organized in 1913, was promoted by Superintendent James E. Henderson of the Cherokee Training School. The purpose of the organization was to "promote agriculture, stock raising, fruit growing, home building, habits of industry and the general welfare and prosperity of our people."

Included in the collection are the organization's by-laws, a list of enrolled members, dues paid and minutes of the meetings from 12/ 1913 through 7/1915.
