Notes on Cherokee Masks and the Eagle Dance (5 pp.) were made at Cherokee, NC, 4-5 December 1946, during interview sessions with Will West Long. (W.N. Fenton and Lester Hargrett, interviewers)

Notes on the masks include descriptions and uses of dancer mask, warrior mask, medicine mask, deer hunter's mask, magical mask, wild turkey hunter's mask, bear hunter's mask, buffalo hunter's mask, negro mask, Chinese mask, and mask of gourds.

The collection also includes slides of Will West Long made in
Big Cove, 5 December 1946.
